Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced commercial furniture and interiors Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial furniture sales, a passion for design, and proven exceptional leadership skills. As Sales Manager, you will develop sales strategies, nurture client relationships, and ensure our sales team meets its targets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and/or exceed sales targets
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and achieve growth
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, designers, and business partners
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department and Business Development lead to identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Prepare and present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and customer service
  • Manage key customer accounts and negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and to acquire and nurture valuable connections 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager/Sales Leader or similar role in the commercial furniture and/or interiors industry(s) • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and sales process
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan-to-close
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
